RESEARCH OVERVIEW
- B semi-leptonic decay: Physical form factors, heavy quark
symmetry, elastic and inelastic form factors.
- Chiral symmetry: Sigma term, threshold pion production,
series of papers (1970's) on pi-N elastic scattering,
photoproduction and electroproduction in the delta region
with chiral constraints.
- QCD String/Flux Tube: Series of papers (1990's) on the
string/flux tube as QCD confinement. Numerical solution
method of the relativistic flux tube, transverse vibrations
and excited glue, shape of the string, and Regge spectroscopy.
- Salpeter equation: Several papers on the numerical solution
by a variational method. Systematic exploration of the
nature of the solutions and when the reduced equation is
accurate.
- Heavy Quark dynamics: QCD sum rules, spin dependence,
the inverse problem, reduced Salpeter solution (1980's).
- Pi-Pi Scattering: Analytic constraints on low energy
parameters.
- Asympotic Scattering: Series of papers on Regge models, sum rules (1960's).
- Three Hadron Final States: amplitude isobar model (first)
and three particle partial wave analysis (mid 1960's).
- Several pedagogical articles in the Americal Journal of
Physics, including two voted best of the year by the
readership.
